What that does and does not change
It does not change the price you pay. It does not change what we recommend. We are not paid to feature a particular product, and no brand gets to review an article before it goes up.
If a product is the right answer and it earns us nothing, we still recommend it. If a product pays well and is not worth it, it does not appear.
How we pick things
Prices are checked when an article is written and re-checked periodically, but they move. We say when we last looked. If we recommend something we have not personally used, we say that too.
Programmes we participate in
Which programmes we belong to changes as we add and retire recommendations, so rather than keep a list here that quietly goes stale, every article containing an affiliate link says so at the top of that article, which is the disclosure that matters at the moment you might actually click one.
